This hanging wall plaque has a pretty little angel for those born in December. She is just like the many birthday angel figurines except she’s only half a figure molded inside a ceramic frame. The little girl is dressed in a white dress with gold accents and tufts of porcelain spaghetti “fur” across the bottom. Three pink roses are tucked into the fur trim as well as a couple of shiny gold bells. A pale pink bow hangs from her waist and she is holding a little Christmas tree. She has a sweet face with upward glancing eyes. Her halo is shiny gold and there are gold accents on the front of her wings. Across the bottom edge of the fluted frame which is enhanced with gold it reads; December Angel. At the top of the frame there are two holes where a double strand of cord is attached so this can be hung on the wall. On the back is the original foiled paper label that reads; Hand Decorated - Ries - Japan. I believe she was probably from the 1950’s or 1960’s.
The frame measures about 4 1/8” wide by 5 ½” high and it is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
