This is old ceramic decanter is one of the Ezra Brooks collector bottles. The figure is a chubby, patriotic potato called Mr. Maine Potato (not to be confused with an Idaho spud). The spudman sports a patriotic red, white & blue tie and cane and fancy red and white striped pants. It looks like he’s tipping his hat which is the stopper for the bottle. On the front is the Ezra Brooks foiled label stating this bottle contained 12 year old 90 proof Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. The bottom reads; Heritage China – 1973 S.N.-41 – Ezra Brooks Liquor Bottle 185. Across the top of the hat and on the back of the head is the tax label.
It measures about 11 3/8” tall and the oblong base measures about 5 5/8” wide by 4” deep. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks, however, The cork is missing from the hat and there is scotch tape over the label that is taped to the hat.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
