This older used paperback reference book was written by Richard Holiner and is titled Antique Purses – A History, Identification & Value Guide. This beautifully photographed book has five categories; History, Beaded, Mesh, Miscellaneous and Value Guide. It has 207 pages including the index and is full of colorful, glossy photos with brief descriptions and values for all types handbags from the past. This was published in 1987 by Collector Books, a Division of Schroeder Publishing Company and the values were updated in 1996. The prices may not be current but it this is still an excellent reference guide with regards to rarity and documentation.

It measures about 8 1/2” by 11” by 3/8” and is in good condition with minimal wear. The inside is crisp & clean and the spine tight. The cover has minimal edge and corner wear and minor scuffing.
