This is an older hardbound reference book titled The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Russel Wright Designs and it was written by Ann Kerr. Using extensive text, glossy color and black and white photographs the author touches on the diverse creativity of the American industrial designer who was productive from the 1920’s through the 1960’s. There examples of his work in metals, plastics, pottery, glass, furniture, fabric and more. The book has 189 pages including a section on marks and a price reference. It was copyrighted in 1990 by the author and it was published by Collector Books, a Division of Schroeder Publishing Company Inc.. It is an excellent reference book for the collector of mid-century modern design. The original price was $19.95.
The book measures about 8 ¾” by 11 ¼” by 5/8”. It is in good condition with crisp and clean pages and a tight spine. The cover has light scuff wear and minimal edge and corner wear.
