This colorful little ceramic piece is fashioned after a German Halloween candy containers. Veggie people were a popular holiday decoration celebrating the fall harvest. This veggie person is small and in a seated, cross legged position. He appears to be made up of red peppers, assorted squash and an orange for his head. It is marked on the bottom; Japan. There is a 15 written in pencil which was probably the original price.

This little version measures about 2 5/8” tall and is in good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
