This little box of laundry soap is an old sample of Arm & Hammer Sal Soda Washing Soda from Church & Dwight Co., Inc. of New York. It is marked Free Sample on the top of the box and it was probably sent to housewives by mail in the 1940's or 1950's. The front says; Routs Stubborn Dirt that soap or detergent alone can't reach. It has nice graphics on the front and back showing the housewife doing her laundry chores.

The full, unopened box measures about 3 7/8" high by 2 7/8" wide by 1 3/8" deep and it is in very good condition with minimal wear.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
