This colorful old menu is from Corky’s Restaurant of Huron Ohio. The front of the menu features delicacies from the sea like shrimp, crab, oysters, other shellfish and a couple of fish. The menu itself is quite varied more than just sea food. They served a variety of steaks, chops, chicken sandwiches salads and desserts. The prices were not printed on the menu and in this case no prices were ever written in which is a shame because it would have been fun to see the cost of a whole pickerel or broiled lobster 60 years ago. The notation that is the most fun is under Deep Fried Oysters which states; Pearls must be split 50-50 with Corky’s! On the back of the menu is information about “the harvest of the sea”. It has a 1958 copyright by the Sea Pak Corporation at the bottom of the page.
It measures about 8 ½” by 11” in its closed state and is in fairly good condition with minor edge wear and mostly minor scuff and crease wear. The worst scratch is across the word “Menu” on the front.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
