This old knife was traditionally called a skinning knife and is probably stout enough for hunting. The knife has a curved blade which runs through the entire wood handle and it is pinned together with two pins. I see no maker on either side of the blade. I believe this is probably from the early 1900’s.
Overall it measures about 10” in length and the blade portion measures a little over 5” long. The widest portion of the blade measures about 1” wide. The handle measures about 1” wide by ¾” think. It is in used condition with age wear. This has had considerable sharpening over the years with scars to show for it. Portions of edge are presently sharp but not the entire edge. The wood handle is not split and is comfortable in the hand.
