This old postcard is apparently from a series called More to Follow which might lead to a suggestive thought or just to the fact that that the back might have correspondence. A beautiful young girl with the eyes and hair of a Gibson girl is being pursued by a man dressed in sailor blues. Across the hat it reads; H.M.S. Dread which is probably short for Dreadnaught. The card has a lightly textured, slightly metallic background. It is marked No. 2130 Series from B.B. London Printed in Saxony. It has no correspondence, stamp or postmark on the back. I believe it is from the early 1900’s.
It measures almost 3 ½” by 5 7/16” and it is in fair condition with some edge and corner wear, minor scuffs to the front and minimal soiling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
