This is an old tin for School Boy Peanut Butter manufactured by The Rogers Company of Seattle. It’s a pail type tin with a metal bail inserted into the caps on the sides. The front has crisp graphics with blue and white on red with the name and company information. There are two panels on the back. One panel tells about the natural oil formation that can be stirred into the peanut butter. The other panel has the weight and says you can serve right from the tin. It also says a recipe booklet was free for the asking. This tin had a slip on style lid.

It measures about 3 ¾” high and 3 ¼” in diameter. It is in very nice condition with good color and gloss and minimal scuff or scratch wear. There is a little rust on one side near the top rim. The bail is original but as previously stated this would have had a slip on lid which is missing. There is some rust and discoloration to the top rim & inside of the tin.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
