This colorful embossed postcard could be wishing July 4th Greetings to its recipient. A young woman, probably a representation of Lady Liberty holds a laurel sprig in one hand and the American flag in the other. An American bald eagle sitting atop a patriotic stars and stripes shield has a laurel branch and a clutch of arrows. In the background yet prominent on the postcard is the U.S. Capitol building. At the bottom it reads; Copyright 1906 P. Sander, N.Y. and on the back it reads; Illustrated Post Card Co. N.Y.. There is no correspondence, stamp or postmark on the back.

It measures about 3 ½” by 5 3/8” and is nice condition with light edge and corner wear and minor soiling.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
