This small cup and saucer, probably considered a demitasse, is very striking with the royal blue and gold trim on the stark white ground. There are also swags of yellow and orange flowers to accent the both pieces. There is a trim of gold on the outer edge of the saucer and several gold detail lines on the cup including on the handle. The bottom of both pieces have the brown crown, Royal Standard Fine Bone China England mark. I believe this is from the 1950’s.
The saucer measures just over 5” in diameter and the cup measures about 2 3/8” in diameter at the top and about 2 5/8” high. Both pieces are in very good condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks.
