All four of these postcards are from the Life Comic Series No2 with a copyright by the Williamson-Haffner Co. of Denver. They are all decorated with hearts and a poem and I believe they are from the early 1900’s.

The first postcard has a gal in Gibson girl attire with plumed hat and parasol is pictured with the caption; My love She has a slender form Though rounded here and there- Her heart beneath is soft and warm And she is young and sweet and fair.

The young lady on the second card has lots of hair piled high on her head and she has both a dish of ice cream and a frothy soda in front of her. The caption reads; My girl I love is young and fair, With rosy cheeks and lustrous hair. She could guess, if she but tried, How much I wish her by my side.

The young girl pictured in the next card is wearing dark attire with a mysterious flare. In one hand she is carrying pistol and in the other is a canister flashlight. The caption reads; My girlie’s eyes are bright and blue Like summer’s skies above – She’s stole my heart what can I do, But trust her with my love.

The last card has a blonde young lady caressing a baby in a long flowing christening gown. The caption reads; I “Wastefulness” abominate: It almost drives me wild – To see the girl with whom I’d mate, Waste kisses on a child.

All four cards measure about 3 ½” by 5 ½” and are in fairly good condition with minor edge and corner wear and soiling. None of them have a postmark, stamp or correspondence on the back.

Priced and sold as the group of four (4).

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
