These old bow ties are for the do-it-yourselfer that likes the hands on approach of tying his or her own bow tie. They both have a shape referred to as bat wing which is parallel sided like a cricket bat.
One tie is a Wembley made of a brown fabric with a classic woven design in gold. The back of the tie has an adjustable strap with increments from 13 to 18 which I would assume means it will fit a 13” neck up to an 18” neck. It has the Wembly butterfly logo. The total length is about 35 ¼” and the width at the square ends is about 1 ¼”.
The second tie is made of all silk in a dark green color that has a pretty sheen. It has a small woven design in black. The back of the tie has an adjustable strap with increments from 14 to 18 which I would assume means it will fit a 14” neck up to an 18” neck. It has a W.E. Fife Co. – Salt Lake City label. The total length is about 36” and the width at the square ends is about 1 3/8”.
They are both nice condition with minor crease wear and minimal edge wear. Priced and sold as the pair
