This old necklace set is made of a variety of beads in colors and shapes. There are pale cream yellow V-shaped beads that interlock, little faceted crystal beads and pale lemon yellow beads with a texture. The tiny beads might be glass but the rest are made of a plastic. The three strands are attached to a decorative gold colored plastic bar. One end has a simple hook marked Hong Kong and the other end has series of chained beads. The necklace comes with matching earrings the same beads as the necklace except that the little faceted beads of the necklace are a larger scale on the earrings. The backs are brass colored metal and the clips are marked Hong Kong. I believe this suite is probably from the 1950’s - 1960’s.
The necklace measures roughly 17” in in length from the hook to the second bead on the chain which lies nicely on a 14” neck. The earrings measure about 1” in diameter. All of the pieces are in very nice condition with minimal wear and no noted damage.
Priced and sold as the set.
