This little elk’s tooth is set with the Elk Lodge emblem. This is not the typical size tooth that was used as a watch fob as it measures only ¾” excluding the jump ring. The front of the mounting has an elk head in relief with the clock emblem in blue enamel with a red enameled star in the middle. Below the elk head is a banner with B.P.O.E. surrounded by black enamel. The sides and the back of the cap are smooth with no detail. It has been tested to be 10k gold but there appears to be three different colors. The elk head appears to be silver, the back of the cap is pale gold and the applied ring at the top has a slight rose gold tint. These were often worn as a necklace pendant by wives of Elk lodge members but it could also be used as a single earring.
As previously stated in only measures about ¾” in length excluding the jump ring and it is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The nose of the elk is worn fairly smooth.
