This is a delicate Royal Bayreuth cup and saucer enhanced with beautiful yellow roses. The thin white china has a blush of pale yellow or ivory on the exterior of the cup and on both sides of the saucer except for the recessed center. The cup is decorated on both the front and back with multiple yellow roses plus there is a single rose on the backside of the cup’s bowl. Several of the foliage leaves are outlined in gold and the handle and both top and bottom edges of the cup are enhanced with gold. The floral design is repeated on the saucer which is also trimmed with gold. Both pieces have the blue Royal Bayreuth Bavaria mark with the Priv 1794 banner. They are also marked Hand Painted Ivory and stamped with the number 21.
The saucer measures about 5 ¼” in diameter and the cup measures about 3 ½” in diameter excluding the handle and just under 2” high. Both pieces are in very good condition with minimal wear. The bottom rim of the saucer and a few tiny nicks. There are no cracks.
