This old kitchen apron from the 1950’s is so much fun! The thin, yellow plastic apron with ruffled edge is primarily advertising the Fryryte deep fryer but also throws in a plug for Coffyryte, an automatic coffee maker. There are seven different pictures, each with a joyful housewife beaming with delight in the use of her modern appliance and each with a poetic jingle like; Big meal, dainty snack - Fryryte cooks for Jill and Jack & Make drip coffee systematic With Coffyryte - it’s automatic. The graphics are brown and hot pink and include fine line drawings around the apron of assorted foods. It appears to have never been used and comes folded in what appears to be its original plastic.
It measures about 14 5/8” waist band to ruffles edge and 18” wide at the waist without the ties which measures about 14” each. It is in very good condition and the plastic is still supple but has obvious creases from being folded for probably more than 50 years.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
