This old porcelain is Bambi with a yellow butterfly on his tail. The young fawn has an inquisitive look as he stares back at his new friend. It has similarities to the graceful version done by American Pottery Company in the 1940's but this one was has an original, foiled, paper label that reads; Imports - Enesco - Japan. The deer is also stamped WDE 144 which would be the design number for Walt Disney Enterprises.
It measures about 6 ¼” to the top of its ear and the top of the butterfly and the leg span is about 4 3/8” front to back. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
