This nicely detailed old thimble is made of sterling silver and has an alternating panel design. There is a single flower that somewhat resembles a daisy with lines radiating from it embossed on five panels alternating with the plain panels. One panel is marked Sterling along with a stylized anchor mark that I believe is for the Goldsmith Stern Co. of N.Y. ca. 1912- 1916. There is also the number 10 which I assume to be the size.
It measures about 13/16" high and about 5/8" in diameter and is in nice condition with minimal scratch wear from sewing needles and no holes in the stippled area.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
