This old elk’s tooth is set with the B.P.O.E. clock emblem in white and blue enamel with a red enameled star in the middle. Below the emblem is a stone set in a bezel. It was sold to me as being a diamond and I believe it to be one but I am not selling it as being a diamond and it is not priced as such. The bezel it white with a tooled edge which gives the stone the appearance of being larger than it actually is. The rest of the cap has no detail other than the pin that secures the tooth. The cap is unmarked yellow gold which has been tested to be 10k. There is an applied ring at the top of the fob.
It measures about 1” in length excluding the jump ring and is nice looking condition but it does have wear issues. The white enameling around the clock is worn and chipped. The gold is scratched and dented from obvious use. The top edge of the tooth is whiter than the rest of the tooth and I think it is probably from an abrasive being used to polish the gold which damaged the edge of the tooth. The condition issues have been taken into consideration in the pricing.
