This single packaged needle is Not For Use in Home Phonographs according to the packaging. This is a thick piece of cardboard with a cutout where the needle is inserted. It is intended for lightweight crystal pick-ups. On the back it states; Designed Especially For Use in Late Model and Converted Coin-Operated Phonographs Having Crystal Pick-ups with Tone Arm Weight of 1 1/2oz or less. This needle was manufactured by the Pfanstiehl Chemical Co., Waukegan, Ill., in about 1939, based on the patent number. The original cellophane is wrapped around the cardboard.

The cardboard package measures about 3” by 2 1/6” wide and is in very good unopened condition.
