This small round tin once held Colgan’s Mint Chips and it carries the slogan; The Gum That’s Round. The gum was advertised as being a Delicious Digestive and was guaranteed by the company under the 1906 Food & Drug Act. The slip on lid has a copyright date of 1910. The gum was manufactured by the Colgan Gum Co. of Louisville Kentucky.
The tin measures about 1 7/16” in diameter by ¾” high and is in very nice condition with good gloss and minimal wear and paint loss mostly along the top edge. There is some discoloration on the inside.
