These old switch plate covers are molded plastic with an angular art deco influence. They would accommodate a single on/off switch or an electrical duplex outlet. Two are made of a cream colored plastic and one is pink plastic but all three have been painted with beige paint. All of them are marked on the back with the following information; Gits Molding Corp. Chicago – Made in U.S.A. – Protect-O-Shield. The patent dates to the early 1930’s.
The outside measure is about 5 ¾” wide by 8 4/3” long and the inside measurement is about 2 3/8” by 4 3/16”. They are in nice condition but as previously mentioned they have been painted, not in the best manner and the paint is worn and dirty.
Priced and sold as the group of three. These match two others that I have for sale in my shop but those are original without paint.
