This old ink pen is a lettering pen from the Wood-Regan Instrument Company of New Jersey. It has the appearance of a fine medical instrument. The handle appears to be made of an early plastic. It has a metal tip and a plunger that controls the flow of ink as desired. The handle is marked Wrico and the tip is marked with the number 3. It could be used for calligraphy, sign or poster lettering or other ornamental writing. It comes with it original wood box with a paper label. I believe this is from the 1920’s or 1930’s. I will send a copy of the original instructions along with the pen.
The pen measures about 4” long and appears to be in very good condition with minimal wear. The paper label on the wood tube has light edge and crease wear and soiling.
