This old cookbook is intended for kids but could be a useful primer for anyone wanting to learn the basics of cooking. It features simple, step by step, illustrated instruction for lots of fun recipes. The recipes include beverages, sandwiches, salads, soups, casseroles, desserts and meat loaf to name a few. There is a section on general cooking terminology, weights and measures included in the 64 pages. The hardbound book has a 1979 copyright by American Greetings and it was published by Gingerbread House, A Division of Elsevier-Dutton Publishing of New York.
It measures about 8 ¾” by 11 3/16” by ½” and is in very nice condition with minimal wear, creases and soiling. A 1981 handwritten inscription is on the inside which I have shown in the photos. The cover shows minimal edge, corner and scuff wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
