This old storybook written by Crosby Bonsall is titled Piggle. It’s a cute story about a frustrated little boy named Homer who simply wants to find someone wanting to play a game with him. The detailed line illustrations are as entertaining as the story. This is An I Can Read Weekly Reader Book by Harper & Row Publishers. The hardbound book has a 1973 copyright and is shown to be a First Edition.
It measures about 6 ¾” by 8 ¾” and is in nice condition with light wear. The inside pages are generally crisp and clean with minimal wear and the spine is tight. The dedication page has a 1” tear along the bottom edge. It has a Happy Birthday inscription dated 1982 on the inside cover. The hardbound cover shows minor edge and corner wear but the spine and top edge are faded.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
