This old book features the comic strip and cartoon character Henry, a bald boy with a simply fashioned baby face. This is the fun story that delves into the question; What do I want to be when I grow up?. The story is cute and the pictures are colorful and endearing. The hardbound children’s book has a 1953 copyright by King Features Syndicate, Inc. and is one of the Treasure Books for Children that enchanted the imagination of generations. The back of the book has a list of some of the other titles that were popular at the time.
It measures about 6 3/4” by 8” and is in nice condition with light wear. The inside pages are generally crisp and clean with minimal wear and the spine is tight. The cover shows light edge and corner wear and minor soiling and scuff wear.
