This classic swan planter was a popular design by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. This was called the Closed Tail Swan Planter and was first introduced in 1954. It is done with a high gloss black glaze over the red Sapulpa clay. On the bottom it is stamped FRANKOMA and although very faint it is also stamped with the design number 228.

It measures about 8” long and 5 3/8” high by 3 ¼” at the widest and it is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
