This old ring box is made of a white plastic with a gold embossed design on the front and back. The edges look like a book with the hinge being along the spine edge. It is Inside is a small fabric insert with a piece of narrow elastic to hold down the chosen piece of jewelry. Is the inside of the lid there is advertising for Herrett’s Mfg. Jewelers – Twin Falls, Idaho. This would be a nice presentation box for a locket or a ring. I believe this is from the 1950’s.
It measures about 1 ¼” by 1 ½” deep by 5/8” thick when closed. It is in very nice condition with minor wear. The hinge closes well and the inside is clean with minimal soiling.
