This old celluloid tape measure is advertising the St. Croix Co. Co-Op Services. This cooperative was apparently based in Baldwin - Woodville and Glenwood City, Wisconsin as shown on one side of the cream and green tape. The other side has a round logo with two simple trees forms. It has a locking mechanism on the edge to hold the tape from reacting. It appears that the last patent date on it is 1947.
It measures about 1 7/16" in diameter and is in fairly good condition with light wear. The yellow cloth tape is in fairly good condition with light fraying for the first 2 1/2". It generally pulls out and retracts well but occasionally needs a tap or shake for the last couple of inches.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
