This old tin car is a Minic wind up made by Line Bros. Ltd of London. It is the Post War Vauxhall Cabriolet 19M. This is like the pre war version but has black painted flared wings and no luggage rack or gas can. It has the LBL 174 number plate transfer on the back and has the tin plate wheels with original black tires. On the bottom it reads; TRI-ANG - MINIC TOYS - Made in England. It comes with its original colorful box with the model on the end flap.
The black and green paint on this classy car is in very good condition. The tires are in fairly good condition with some evidence of wear. The wind-up mechanism works well and it comes with a key.... but not an original Minic key. This miniature clockwork model measures just short of 5" long. The box shows minor wear with some wrinkling and small tears on the flap seams.
