This old porcelain piece is beautifully decorated with a colorful floral pattern similar to Dresden Rose and Dresdenia. It has a white ground which showcases the multi-colored floral spray in the center and a pale cream band with the small flowers on the inner edge. The edge is embellished with a gold trim and the “handled” ends are more heavily decorated. It dates between 1945 - 1952 and on the bottom it is marked; Sango China - Made in Occupied Japan.
It is very impressive measuring about 16 3/16” in length by 12 3/16” wide and is in very good condition with minimal wear, no chips, cracks or other damage.
