This old porcelain piece is beautifully decorated with a colorful floral pattern similar to Dresden Rose and Dresdenia. The old gravy boat has a white ground which showcases the multi-colored flowers and the attached underplate has a pale cream band. The edges of the bowl and plate are embellished with a gold trim and the “handled” ends are more heavily decorated. It dates between 1945 - 1952 and on the bottom it is marked; Sango China - Made in Occupied Japan.
