This old tin was once filled with 38 Extra Wide, Medicated Flesh bandages. It has great graphics with a bandaged finger and a close up of the bandaid. There is a notation, pointing to the band-aid, that reads; NEW! Telfa Pad - won’t pull off healing skin. On the back is an explanation of the Telfa gauze pad which was washable, waterproof and medicated. The tin has a rear hinged lid which has the original price of 69 cents. They were a Curity product of Bauer & Black, a division of the Kendall Company of Chicago. The patents on the end of the tin date this to 1960.
The empty tin measures about 4" 1/8” by 3 ½” by 1 5/8” and is in very nice condition with minor wear. It has good gloss and generally minimal scuff and scratch wear. There is paint loss along the edge of the lid and there is some loss of paint near the bottom edge of the back and there is rust along the rim of the back and side.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
