This is a ribbon thin necklace made of sterling silver in a pattern, that I believe, is considered a herringbone. It is sleek an lies well on the neck and catches the light beautifully. The ends of the chain have the classic look of Danecraft. Each end is marked; 925 Italy with the initial “D” on the opposing side. The spring clasp is not marked. This piece of estate jewelry is from the 1980's.
It measures almost 1/8” wide by 24” long including the clasp and jump ring. It weighs approximately 3.6 dwt. or 5 1/2 grams. It is in nice but used condition. It has had some kinks, as is so common with these chains, but wrinkles are not real bad and the necklace still shows well. I have shown the worst areas in the photos and have taken the flaws into consideration.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
