These little stickpins could have been used in the hair or as a hat adornment. The picks have a simple cube on the ends with a little link chain connecting them. A small round dangle hangs from the chain. One side is chased with a delicate design and the name Alma. On the other side is The Lord’s Prayer. The pins are slightly twisted in the center to hold them snuggly in place. The entire piece is made of non magnetic metal. The pins and the chain have a dark finish and I believe the dangle is rolled gold. This could be considered a piece of Victorian Era mourning jewelry.
The pins measure about 1 ½” long, the chain measures about 3” long and thin decorative medallion measure about 9/16” in diameter excluding the loop at the top and the jump ring. It is in very good condition with no noted damage.
