This is a vintage book called; Machinery’s Handbook for Machine Shop and Drafting-Room. The states it is; a reference book on machine design and shop practice for the mechanical engineer, draftsman, toolmaker, and machinist. It is filled with text, tables and diagrams with sections on material, gearing, screw threads, small tools, steels and alloys motors, weights & measures and the list goes on! The sections have recessed tabs for easy reference. The editors were Erik Oberg and F.D.Jones. This is the 13th Edition with a 1946 copyright by The Industrial Press of New York.
It measures about 5” by 7 1/8” by 2 ½” thick and it is in overall good condition. The inside pages are generally crisp and clean with minimal wear and the spine is tight. The semi soft cover has general wear including edge and corner wear.
