This old hardbound cook book is titled; Betty Crocker’s Dinner in a Dish Cook Book. From casseroles suited for company to chafing dish delights this recipe book has much to offer. Paella, Kentucky burgoo, coq au vin and cheese fondue are a few examples of the varied meals you’ll find with illustrations and photos for many of the dishes. There are also sections on soups and stews and salads and sandwiches plus a general “Good Cooks Guide” for general reference. It has 152 pages plus the index. It was illustrated by Helen Federico and published by the Golden Press - New York. It’s a first edition, first printing with a 1965 copyright by General Mills, Inc. The hardbound edition has a spiral binding.
It measures about 8 ¾” by 10 ¼” and is in good condition with minimal wear. The pages are clean and crisp, the spine is good and there appear to be no torn or missing pages. The cover shows shelf wear with scuffs and worn edges and corners.
