These are decks of old playing cards for children.
The first is called Toy Town Playing Cards. Each black and white card is divided into six squares. There is a dog, clown, bird, elephant, fish and camel featured in the squares. The small deck is complete including a joker and come with its original box.
They measure about 1 11/16” by 2 ½”. The cards are in good condition with some play wear and light rub wear. The joker is creased down the center vertically. The box is in worn condition showing some wear along the edges and two torn corners. Some of the paper is also torn off the back.
The second deck is called Play Time Playing Cards. Each card has a silhouette of a boy and girl, each with a balloon, looking at a butterfly on a flower. The cards are blue and white on the design side. The small deck is complete, including a joker, and it comes with its original box. The red, white and blue box show that these were made by the U.S. Playing Card Co. of Cincinnati. Still attached to the box is the 10c U.S. Internal Revenue Playing Card tax stamp.
They measure about 1 11/16” by 2 ½” and are in very good condition with minimal wear. The box is in good also.
