This old tin once held 100 Wells’ Tablets at a price of 50c. The nicely designed cream and muted orange tin is hinged at the back and enhanced with gold. It’s shown as “A Family Medicine” and was essentially a laxative. The formula information, directions and Money Back guarantee are on the back. These were from the National Drug Co. of Washington D.C. and I believe these are from the early 1900’s
The empty tin measures about 3 1/8” by 2” by 5/8” thick. The tin is in fairly good condition with some scuffs and loss of paint especially on the back. Much of the gold is worn from the sides.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
