This clown figurine is an old electric lamp. He has a cute face with upward glancing eyes and appears to be singing as he plays his accordion. He is standing on a metal base which is painted white with gold accents. A small socket clips into the hole in the base so the light bulb goes up into the body. The bulb can be an old Christmas bulb or standard nite lite bulb. The electric cord has an in-line switch for turning it on and off. The base has an Underwriters' Laboratories - Portable Lamp label on the bottom. I believe it is from the 1960's.
Overall the lamp measures about 6 ¾” tall and the base measures about 3 7/8” in diameter. It is in very good working condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks or other damage. The 6 foot long electric cord has a non-polarized plug. It cord appears to be original so care should be taken when using even though it has no splits or damage.
