This is an old sugar bowl with handles and its original lid. It was made by A.H. Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio. The pattern is similar to the Colonial pattern but I believe this is the Hotel Sugar in the No. 393 pattern. Both the lid and the bowl has nice panels and the bowl has angular handles. It has the diamond H trademark in the center of the base. The glass has a very slight purple tinge to it. This is probably from the early 1900’s and would make a fun serving piece for coffee sprinkles.
It measures about 3 1/4” in diameter, excluding the handles or 5 ¼” across the handles. It measures about 5” tall to the point of the lid. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
