This was probably a staged scene for a fun souvenir type postcard. The saloon setting features an elaborately carved back bar with liquor bottles on the shelves. Posted are several notices like; Wild West Bar, Tie Your Bull Outdoors, This is No Place for a Tenderfoot and others. The man behind the bar is looking toward the cowboy standing against the wall. He’s decked out with wooly chaps with his gun in his holster around his waist. The guy sitting on the keg looks a bit out of place and is probably the one paying to have this card made. On the back is minimal correspondence with a 1913 postmark and an additional stamp with the 1913 date.

It measures about 3 3/8” by 5 3/8” and is good condition with minor edge and corner wear and soiling.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
