This cup and saucer was probably used at Masonic lodge functions. Both pieces are white restaurant china with a geometric blue boarder that has a black panel with flowers. They have the Masonic square, compass and letter “G” which represents Freemasonry F. & A.M. which I believe is for Free and Accepted Mason. Over the emblem it reads; Damascus Lodge No 10 which I believe is a lodge in Utah that was established in 1896. The only back stamp is on the bottom of the saucer and it reads; Hotel.
The saucer measures about 6” in diameter and it is in nice condition with light decal wear and crazing. There is a dark craze line which can be seen in the photos, this does not go through to the front and appears to only be a glaze craze that has darkened. The cup measures about 3 ¾” in diameter excluding the handle by 2 1/8” high. It also has light decal wear. There is a little roughness and porcelain imperfection especially along the top rim that appear to be part of the poor quality of the china.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
