This undulating clamshell like piece is a warmer made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. It took a single candle and could have been used to keep a coffee carafe or casserole warm. This is a blue glaze over the red Sapulpa clay. It is a pretty blue, possibly the Sky or Medium Blue. It has the Frankoma name and the design number WA1 on the bottom. This pattern was apparently first used in 1974.
It measures about 3 1/8" at the highest peak and about 8 ½” in diameter at the widest point. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear and no damage.
