This old measuring pitcher is made of enameled tin which is called graniteware. On one side the tin in embossed with increments for ½ Pt., 1 Pt., 1 ½ Pt., and 1 Qt.. There are embossed ridges at each of the increments. It has a small handle and a flared rim pour spout. The graniteware has a nice, light and dark gray mottling.
It measures about 5 3/8” high at the pour spout and 5” high at the rim where the handle is attached. The bottom measures about 4 ¼” in diameter. It is in very nice original condition with some usage wear. There are a couple of ½” chips on the cup portion and some smaller nick and chip wear to the enamel around the rim and on the handle. There are no holes in the metal.
