This is an assortment of old cardboard bottle caps. Most were used on the old quart and pint size glass bottles. Some have recessed centers and a couple are the flat style but they would have been crimped over the bottle top. They all measure about 2” in diameter (+/-) by ¼” deep and all are in fairly good, unused condition.
Five are from Amber-Glo Dairy Foods of Oklahoma with different colors representing a different product as indicated below. Blue & white check- Half & Half Orange- Homogenized Vitamin D Milk Off White- Whipping Cream Yellow- Milk
There are two yellow caps from the Ideal Drive-In Dairy of Choctaw, Oklahoma which read; Guernsey Raw Milk.
There are also two from Ashton Farms, Inc. of Pocatello - Blackfoot (Idaho). Those two are dull orange and were for Homogenized Milk.
The two flat, crimp-ons are from Townley’s Dairy of Oklahoma City. The blue one was for Buttermilk and the reddish one was for Half-n-Half.
The little, flat, push in style was from the Sunshine Dairy and it was for Raw Milk. It measures about 1 5/8” in diameter and is in very good condition.
Also included are five Raw Milk caps. These may have been used in old cottage cheese cartons. The caps have a drawing of a glass milk bottle with a drinking glass next to it. The "tab" for removing the cap is brown and place on the glass in such a way that it sort of looks like a glass of chocolate milk. They are all the same and read; Raw Milk. They measure almost 4” in diameter and are in unused condition with minor discoloration and scuff wear.
