This old photo, probably from the early 1900’s, is of a little girl, seated in a wooden chair, holding her teddy bear. Although the photo is black and white with slightly brown tones, the bear looks as though it is probably a golden mohair with a stitched nose and shoe button eyes. The little girl is all dolled up wearing a pretty flowered dress and Mary Jane style shoes and flowered anklet stockings. She also appears to be wearing a small ring on her left hand and a bead or pearl necklace. Beside her is a tall basket with dried flowers. The photo is in a cardboard pocket that folds back to an easel frame. At the bottom, below the photo is the studio; Nelson - Spokane. There is nothing on the back of the photo.
The photo measures about 2 7/8” by 4 3/8 and the cardboard frame measures about 4 ¾” by 7 ¼”. Both are in very good condition with minimal edge and corner wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
