This old folder is a coin saver that was advertising Childcraft Books from Field Enterprises of Chicago. The lightweight cardboard has never been fold which allows it to display nicely. On the left side of one side is the ad for the encyclopedias and the right hand side has fun graphics of a young boy and girl. It also reads; Invest but a Few Cents a Day in “Childhood Preferred” you always win!. The other has 30 slots in which to insert dimes. Under each slot it has the sum total that each dime contributes to the goal of $3.00. I believe this is from the 1950’s.
It measures about 5 11/16” by 6 13/16” and is in very nice, unused condition with minimal edge wear and small creases.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
